RELATIONSHIPS: Should A Lady Make The First Move?

As a lady, have you ever felt like belonging to some guy or a friend who is obviously either not showing special interest in you or is too busy to pay attention to notice you? Some girls do accept this fact but believe that it is improper for a girl to ask a guy for a relationship, that it only makes the lady appear cheap. Some say they can start a casual friendship but not initiate the romantic relationship. However some few bold ladies do use their skills to get into a relationship with the guy of their dream. But should a lady ever make the first move to start a relationship?
From the above paragraph it can be seen that the number one fear hindering women from initiating the move is the risk of losing her value or pride. This fear has caused the majority of women under it to only wait at the receiving end for any random selection of men fate has brought to them to choose from, whether they meet their taste or not. At least they will be able to satisfy customs. But it must be noted that a guy who will lose interest or respect for you will do so even if he made the first move depending on his initial motive. This happens mostly after sex in the relationship. So every relationship has a chance of failing irrespective of their history.
Be that as it may, some guys are naturally shy or fearful. You can be close to a guy and become study partners but yet he finds it difficult to say it. He may fear that your class is above him and he will not be able to satisfy your taste and so he just locks up. Some are just naturally shy that they prefer to be your best friend, swallow all forms of jealousy in the process and keep being your friend because they lack the boldness to say it or fear that you will be annoyed if he does. Some guys do not just care about this whole thing, they just do not have a time to pay attention so they need some distractions.
Care must however be taken as some guys can actually be the talkative type. You do not want to a topic of discussion in a circle of friends. To avoid this you can just be observant to study his attitude before breaking the ice. In a case where you are likely not going to have the opportunity of seeing him again, getting his contact with some maturity is advisable, from there you can start observing. 
From all these, we can deduce that though it is somewhat strange in some societies for ladies to break the ice, but in advanced societies, with some maturity and depending on the guy involved, a lady can make the move and still keep her pride. But this must not happen so fast, it can freak the guy out.
